Knowns Bugs

to report any issues please post here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] with a description of your issue, how to reproduce it and the operating system you're running YahTalk on.

What Ports YahTalk needs your firewall to allow
TCP port 13337 for local Yahoo! Messenger connection.
TCP Port 13337 for communicating to YahTalks chat server.

UDP port 5000 for local Yahoo! Messenger voice stream.
UDP port 13339 for communicating to YahTalks voice server.

Yahtalk will need to be ran as an administrator

Expect bugs and a lot of server restarts.
that's what this closed beta testing is for so don't get to comfortable in a room just yet.

I'll follow up on this topic shortly when I have everything packaged.

*smileys that were not showing will now show.
*instead of seeing 'user has joined or left' a conference it will now show as red or blue and say joined or left the chat room
*disabled your text echoing back to yourself because people kept complaining (this was for debugging during issues with fonts)
*you will now receive an alert if you try using yahtalk with an outdated version
*fix few minor bugs that that were causing text rendering issues
*you can now create rooms with single quotes
*inactive user created rooms will be deleted after 15 minutes if empty.
